Building Profile

Northwest High School operates on a philosophy of opening pathways for our students.  Our goal is to acquaint students with their greatest assets and strengths, help them identify how they learn best and encourage them to develop a four year plan designed to maximize their career options.  Students are encouraged to keep as many options alive as possible, since many of the career areas that our students may access in the future have not even been developed.  We believe that rigor, relevance and relationships should drive our school structure and are striving to improve each of those areas.
