The Direction of Greatness
Northwest High School serves approximately 975 students in grades 9 through 12. We pride ourselves on providing a great culture that promotes learning, growing, safety, and community. Our high school is the hub of our community activities. We have great support from community members in all activities from sports, the arts, robotics, or work experience opportunities and much more. There is a strong history of involvement and school spirit that can be seen across the county.

About NWHS
Northwest High School operates on a philosophy of opening pathways for our students. Our goal is to acquaint students with their greatest assets and strengths, help them identify how they learn best and encourage them to develop a four year plan designed to maximize their career options. Students are encouraged to keep as many options alive as possible, since many of the career areas that our students may access in the future have not even been developed. We believe that rigor, relevance and relationships should drive our school structure and are striving to improve each of those areas.
