The boy's and girl's cross country teams competed in the second I - 8 League Jamboree last night in Hastings.  Both teams improved by one place since the last league meet and finished 7th. This was an extremely difficult cross country course with long uphills and downhills with gravel and large tree roots appearing from nowhere.  The team came away with only minor injuries, but a big dent in their pride with the hills. Bryce Alfred lead the boy's team with a 27th place finish and he was followed closely by Brady Jones in 28th place.  Tyler Collins finished 32nd and Joey Dodge was 56th.  Tyler Dodge had a great night placing 5th on the team and 68th overall. Finishing out the top seven were Zach Sommer and Austin Phelen in 71st and 76th place, respectively. In the girl's race Lydia Anuszkiewicz was 20th and Mari Lamb was 21st.  Bailey Cooper was 45th and she was followed by Brianna Dodge, who ran very well placing 49th.  Aria Ward placed 56th, Mallory West was 59th and Jameson LaPorte was 61st. The team will run at Sharp Park on Saturday in the Chris Jensen Memorial Run.
